The Living Areas

Our large kitchen-dining space is perfect for sharing time with family and friends and is equipped with everything you may need for cooking the delicious fresh produce you will be tempted by in in our local farm shops. The dining table is a great place to enjoy games at the end of the day - a selection is available for all ages.

The lounge is a cosy space to relax in; put your feet up in the 'reading corner'! Our bookshelves are stocked with a range of genres, so you are sure to find something of interest. The bedrooms are peaceful sanctuaries and the silence at night is something special. No need for blackout curtains here; you will be sleeping under the Northumberland Dark Skies.

On The Outside

Set back from a quiet B road, we have ample space for up to two cars on a private drive. Behind our cottage you will find the sunny, south-facing garden, equipped with dining table, chairs and a barbecue. Enjoy the sun here during the day in your own private space, but make sure at night to grab a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and sit back and watch the stars - more than you ever imagined!

About West Thirston & Felton

West Thirston & Felton are almost two villages in one - each separated by the picturesque river Coquet. The villages are joined together across the river by an historic 15th (or possibly 16th!) century Grade II listed stone bridge. Felton is famous for having hosted Oliver Cromwell on his route northwards to the Battle of Dunbar. The St Oswalds Way passes directly through the village and there are scenic walks directly from the doorstep.
