Story
Get to Know Us
When we first visited Northumberland on a family holiday in 2000, we fell so in love with the region that we bought a house here, Charlies Place.
Since then, we have welcomed over 1,000 visitors, and it has been our pleasure to share with so many people the outstanding natural beauty of Northumberland's countryside and coast.
Charlie's Place has now become Charlie's Cottages - and from 2024 we have three cottages for our guests to choose from, catering to different guests' needs.
Buying a little cottage in our absolute favourite county was one of the best decisions we have made.
To share this special place with others is a must and a joy.

Location - Amenity - Choice
We have carefully selected each of our cottages to ensure they cater to a wide range of guests - from couples to families and groups.
They each offer easy parking, good-sized gardens, and are all within walking distance of local shops, cafes, pubs and other amenities. Charlie's Place and Elliott Cottage, located close-by in Belford, can be booked together for larger groups of up to eight.
Easily accessible from the A1, our cottages are all just a short drive from the must-see attractions and have access to picturesque walks right from the doorstep.

Rates & Reservations
It is important to us that our guests receive value for money from their stays with us, so we always price competitively.
Our rates vary by season. For the best rates, book direct here!​​​
Our standard check-in date is on Saturdays, our typical stays are for 7 days.
Short breaks available in low seasons (3 night minimum stay).
Unfortunately, we do not accommodate pets (except guide dogs).
